College Football in Chaos | Missouri Tigers Football News

Missouri’s head coach Eli Drinkwitz is calling college football a “clown show” as the SEC reverses course on former NFL players returning to campuses—forced by court rulings, including one from Louisiana. With chaos erupting just days before kickoff, Drinkwitz blasts the NCAA for ignoring years of warnings about NIL, the transfer portal, and eligibility confusion. While some fans rally behind his frustration, others fire back, calling him confused or irrelevant. Drinkwitz vows Missouri will follow whatever rules emerge—even if it means adding players to win. The mess? It’s still unfolding—with courts, conferences, and schools scrambling for answers—and no clear fix in sight.
