College is Bullsh*t | Business is Bullsh*t Ep 37
from Business is Bullshit · host Jon Tsourakis, James Hornick and Jared Gibson
College used to be sold as the obvious path to a better life. Now? The cost keeps climbing, the value keeps getting harder to prove, and a lot of graduates are walking away with debt, a credential, and no clear path to use either one. In this episode, James, Jared, and Jon go after the modern college machine: runaway tuition, student loans, broken incentives, useless credentials, outdated curriculums, administrative bloat, and the cultural brainwashing that tells kids they're failures if they don't get a degree. They also argue the other side: college can still matter. The experience, the network, the structure, and certain careers still make it valuable. But the days of blindly telling every 18-year-old to borrow six figures and "figure it out later" should be over. College isn't always bullsh*t. But the way we sell it, finance it, and worship it? Absolute bullsh*t.
