COLLEGE SPOTLIGHT: Schreurs competes for SMSU track and field

MARSHALL — Luke Schreurs is a member of the Southwest Minnesota State University track and field squad. Schreurs, a resident of Arco in Lincoln County, also was a student-athlete at Russell-Tyler-Ruthton. At SMSU, Schreurs is a jumping specialist. However, he has competed in sprints for the Mustangs as well. Schreurs recorded his best-ever collegiate time in the 200-meter dash at 25.42 seconds at the St. John’s University Optimistic Meet in Collegeville.
