Colliding With Culture
from Rock Hill Church Hosted by Rock Hill Church | Pastor Matt Chappell
As believers, we are called to engage with the world around us without compromising the truth of the Gospel. In Acts 17, Paul collides with the culture of Athens, showing us how to stand firm in our faith while reaching those trapped in idolatry and worldly philosophies.1️⃣ We Must Be Ready to Engage – Like Paul in Athens, we must see the lost with compassion and step into difficult conversations (Acts 17:16-23, Exodus 20:3).2️⃣ We Must Clearly Present Truth – The message of Christ must be communicated boldly and without compromise (Acts 17:24-31, Psalm 33:6, Colossians 1:16).3️⃣ We Must Trust God with the Outcome – Some will believe, some will mock, but God’s Word never returns void (Acts 17:32-34, Isaiah 55:11, 2 Corinthians 6:2).The culture around us is always shifting, but the truth of Jesus remains the same. Are you willing to stand for Christ and make Him known? Watch now and be challenged to engage with your world for His glory!
