Colluding with corporations to keep us living paycheck-to-paycheck - is this the worst thing the GOP has ever done?

from Literally The Worst People in the World. · host Dermot Fenster

Yes, this is the GQP's worst crime.  Ever. Keeping people poor KILLS them.  It takes years off their lives and degrades the life they have left. The GQP and corporate America have been collaborating on an effort to make sure most Americans are paid as little as possible.   Since the year 2000, cost of living in America has increased by approximately 400%. Yet, starting pay rates for every position below the corporate upper management level have only increased by about 8%. WHY DO THEY DO THIS? - in exchange for financial compensation from corporate lobbyists - to make it as easy as possible to manipulate people by by artificially inflating the cost of living and then falsely blaming Democrats for their financial difficulties to win elections - to give themselves the perfect justification for voting down or filibustering any new spending  bills on social programs and slashing, burning and eliminating all existing social programs that they can in order to keep as much tax revenue as possible for themselves, their projects, and their interests.... all they have to do it is convince voters that any and all government spending will increase the tax burden on regular people HOW DO THEY DO THIS? - by voting down or filibustering any and every piece of legislation that would regulate the way any aspect of a business is run, especially legislation related to employee compensation and legislation that would ban all of the scummy, evil, reprehensible union-busting practices companies have used over the past half-century. - by running smear campaigns, characterizing every unionized business as a mafia front and then using that as a justification to constantly investigate, harass, audit, and find any justification, no matter how tenuous or outright fabricated, to shut down and disband labor unions.....  ....so that we have NO REGULATORY PROTECTION and NO RECOURSE to negotiate for fair pay and have to simply settle for the scraps they toss on the floor for us. That's MAGA for you: Make Americans Go-Broke Always
