The search for life in the rubble of western Colombia’s powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake on Monday grows more desperate, as search teams push up against a key time threshold to locate survivors — as there are several thousand people unaccounted for. Aid agencies consider the first 48 to 72 hours crucial for retrieving people alive. Back here, the Colombian community in Philadelphia bands together in support.
