Color Magic

Welcome to the Horn and Cauldron podcast… Using color for magical endeavors and even healing has been around for thousands of years. Chromotherapy, sometimes called vibrational healing, is when you use colors, usually in the form of colored light being shone on certain parts of the body, to infuse water, for painted walls or glasses. Theosophy and its founder Helena Blavatsky have been mentioned in many episodes, and it also plays a large part in what we think of as color’s magical properties today. Several prominent Using Theosophist theory, the book “Thought-Forms” was written. Together, Chromotherapy and Theosophy contributed greatly to the color magic and correspondences we know today. Join us as we talk about all of this and more, blending history, science, and magic.
