Color of Night
from On the BiTTE · host Ryan, Laura
Color of Night (1994) is an erotic thriller starring Bruce Willis and Jane March, directed by Richard Rush. This was the film that really gave us the kick in the pants to start this podcast. It is a wild, confusing ride, that is both satisfying and bewildering. As of today, in order to watch the Director’s Cut, you’ll need to purchase it. We recommend Kino Lorber’s Blu-ray release, which has both versions of the film with some lovely commentary. If you’d rather not own this film (but, why? It’s such a treasure!), but want to dive as deep as we did, you can check out the Producer’s Theatrical Cut which is currently available to stream (for purchase) on Google, iTunes, Vudu, and Amazon.
