Color Speak, Episode 33, Why Jesus Likes Boundaries, with the Always Real Emily

Light is where you’ll find truth; truth is where you’ll find color.Color is where you’ll find God.Color is God. It’s his love for you.Color testifies to his everlasting goodness in myriad ways.Color speaks of God’s attributes, always good. So, which comes to mind for you?Limitless? Unchanging? Omnipotent? Loving?How about preemptive? Proactive? Boundary-setting?Because you won’t find passive on the list of our Creator’s attributes! He gives us parameters to live by and shows us how to incorporate the ideology behind these guidelines into our lives.For us humans, a mention of the word "boundaries" can touch a nerve.For some, the term is antithetical, what fencing was to early cowboys on a cattle drive.For others, it's the seat belt that keeps them strapped in and safe for a cross country drive. Regardless of individual perspective, our God is a God of boundaries.Jesus set boundaries. And he wants us to set our own.Today, we’re going to talk boundaries. For this I've asked my daughter Emily back because she's always real. Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of scripture to back up our discussion.And no guilt.***Emily is a graphic and interior designer, artist, and Bible scholar.
