Deion Sanders said that the game against Nebraska was personal, and his team played like it as they thumbed the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The final score of this game was 36-14, and my reaction was one of disgust at Nebraska's lack of discipline. Nebraska Football has one of the worst offenses in the country, and they gave up 4 turnovers today to a Colorado defense that allowed 42 points and over 500 total yards to TCU last week. Nebraska quarterback Jeff Sims constantly fumbled snaps, did not complete handoffs, and tried his best to throw to the defense. Runningbacks Gabe Ervin Jr. and Rahmir Johnson had admirable performances, but they were unable to compensate for the awful play produced by the quarterbacks and receivers. The Cornhusker defense once again had a great performance, collecting 8 sacks and several more tackles for loss, but they were worn out by the 4th quarter. In contrast, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders once again had a phenomenal performance, going 31-42 for 393 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air, with wide receiver Xavier Weaver being Sanders' preferred target.
