Colossians 1:24–29

from Ramah Baptist Church Hosted by Ramah Baptist Church

This is the morning sermon at Ramah Baptist Church in Palmetto, GA on September 27, 2026. In this sermon from Colossians 1:24–29, we consider the God-given mission of Christian ministry. Paul rejoices in suffering for the sake of Christ's church and explains that God has entrusted him with the proclamation of a once-hidden mystery now revealed: Christ in you, the hope of glory. The heart of faithful ministry is not human wisdom or personality but the faithful proclamation of Christ, warning and teaching every believer so that they may be presented mature in Him. This passage reminds us that all true spiritual growth is accomplished through Christ's power at work within His people and that every believer should labor toward the maturity of the church for the glory of God.
