Colossians 1: Aim Higher; Will You Withstand Tribulation?

from DHBChurch.org

Colossians 1:9-14. Paul’s intercessory prayer for the Colossians. Paul had three categories in his prayer. We should not lose our drive to aim high to do better for God just because we are doing more than before. Paul did not give up or stop after his stoning or imprisonment. He did not stop until he saw God face to face. There is no room for mediocracy in Christianity. Wisdom is truth in action based on God’s perspective rather than man’s perspective. The ten commandments is the minimum standard to show that you are a sinner, but we should want to fully please Him. Acts 14:21-23. Daniel 7:25. Rwanda is refusing the expression of their faith and the USA is attacking the foundation of the Bible and what is truth. It is a wearing out of the saints. We should stand fast without compromise to endure with patience and long suffering.
