We live in a world today that is full of opportunity, and full of solutions. There are all kinds of opportunities, and all sorts of solutions. For instance, if you want to put an addition on your house, there are any number of construction firms you could utilize—you can go online and get quotes and estimates from as many companies as you want. The same is true for nearly any project you want to complete. Home repairs, car maintenance, any sort of solution you need in our world today, you can find it, and you can find it easily—we live in a world full of opportunity and solutions. But this isn’t true when it comes to our spiritual lives. There are all sorts of solutions that people look to in their spiritual lives to find answers and solutions, but many of them don’t really work . . . But there is only one solution to our spiritual problems; there is only one who has the fix for what is going on in our hearts, and that solution in Jesus. Only Jesus can satisfy your soul!‌‌ And as we come to our text today, we enter into the middle of an in-depth discussion on the incomparable worth of Jesus Christ. 6 times in verses 9-15 of Colossians 2 we have the phrase in him or with him. This passage is all about Jesus and how his work on the cross meets our deepest need. And as we come to the verses we’re going to focus on today, verses 13-15, there’s one big idea that I think emerges from the text, and this is the bottom line I want you to take away with you this morning:‌‌ Big idea: Jesus provides for your deepest need
