Colossians 3:1–4
from Ramah Baptist Church Hosted by Ramah Baptist Church
This is the morning sermon at Ramah Baptist Church in Palmetto, GA on November 1, 2026. In this sermon from Colossians 3:1–4, Paul calls believers to live in light of their union with the risen Christ. Because Christians have been raised with Christ, they are commanded to seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God, and to set their minds on eternal realities rather than earthly concerns. Paul reminds us that our old life has died, our new life is hidden with Christ in God, and our future glory is secure in Him. This passage challenges us to examine where our hearts and minds are focused and encourages us to live each day with a heavenly perspective, confident in the promise that when Christ appears, we also will appear with Him in glory.
