Colossians 3:1-4 - Instruction

The first four verses of chapter 3 are like a hinge; they summarize the first two chapters of the letter concerning doctrine: the truths of the Christian faith.  They then launch us into the next two chapters of the letter, which concern ethics; how to live the Christian life.
