Jim tempts the guys with retro gaming hardware, Elton visits a castle and is shocked to discover that his Nintendo Wii is now more "retro" than previously thought. Darren has a problem with ants that may or may not be lured in by certain fluids and then proceeds to go into a 45 minute long burbling cheese dream over a My Chemical Romance concert he attended (featuring guest appearance from Lee's daughter Lisa via Whatsapp). Eventually we get to Lee's week and discover why the podcast has been missing for nearly three weeks. Plus Lee hands in his geek cred card as he abandons a movie double bill. And he gets rather vexed at a movie about a guy with a shiny helmet. Normalcy returns briefly as we get round to reviewing a frightneningly precient 1970s sci-fi movie Colossus The Forbin Project Media Discussed This Week.
