Colt Emerson Out for Season | Spokane News

Mariners top prospect Colt Emerson’s rookie season is over after surgery to fix a displaced wrist tendon — but the team’s GM says he’ll be ready for next year. A meeting with coaches revealed his hidden struggle: months of wrist pain he’d played through, even after a cortisone shot. Now sidelined from swinging, Emerson will focus on rehab and strength training to protect his wrist — and the Mariners can finally understand why his numbers dipped so sharply.
