Colton Joseph’s Big Ten QB Outlook | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Colton Joseph, Wisconsin’s new quarterback, landed in Tier Four on The Athletic’s 2026 college QB rankings — not a bad spot, since he ranked higher than over 100 other signal-callers. Tier Four mixes promising rookies and veteran comebackers, and Joseph fits the mold: a strong athlete with mobility but questions around his passing game. Analysts believe he can thrive if used strategically, especially in the Big Ten, where only two QBs cracked the top tiers and five landed in Tier Three. Joseph joins four other Big Ten QBs in Tier Four, signaling a conference-wide search for breakout talent — and plenty of anticipation for what he’ll bring to the Badgers.
