Colts Claim Kapena Gushiken and Release Luke Tenuta

The Indianapolis Colts recently announced a roster change involving the acquisition of Kapena Gushiken, a cornerback formerly with the Philadelphia Eagles. To accommodate this addition, the team officially released offensive tackle Luke Tenuta, who had previously spent time on their active and practice squads. Gushiken joins the team as a former undrafted free agent with an extensive collegiate background at Mississippi and Washington State. This transaction is part of a broader series of personnel adjustments made by the organization during the 2026 season. Other recent team developments include practice squad signings and high-profile acquisitions like veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen. Together, these updates highlight the franchise's ongoing efforts to refine its depth chart through the waiver wire and free agency.
