Columbia News Service post-interview #2 Mark Henkel - Zehra Mamdani -11- Mar 2008
from National Polygamy Advocate · host Mark Henkel
National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was post-interviewed a second time by Zehra Mamdani for Columbia News Service, on March 4, 2008. This is Part 11 of the second post-interview - and it is aery short one, relative to other episodes of this podcast. The reason for the shortness of this episode is two-fold. First, it shows how insulting the writer presented herself as she rudely went from "Next" to "Next" in her processing of point corrections. Second, it demonstrates an issue that had become a problem at that time: a force polygamist who was undermining the movement (with his force polygamy views) by labelling himself with a title of "Pastor" in order to pretend that he had more credibility than he possessed, so that manufactured news corporations would falsely quote him as if he was a qualified representative of the Christian Polygamy movement (which he was not). It all stems from an article that the writer had written as a student for the Columbia News Service, from interviews she had conducted with Mark Henkel earlier in January, 2008. After the article had contained many negativities that needed to be corrected, Mark Henkel requested of the writer to conduct an initial post-interview on February 26, 2008. She agreed. The two also agreed to have a second post-interview later, which they conducted on March 4, 2008. Although rather brief (on purpose), this episode is the eleventh part of that second discussion. The remaining parts of the second post-interview will be aired in the next coming episodes of this podcast. http://www.NationalPolygamyAdvocate.com
