Columbia News Service post-interview #2 Mark Henkel - Zehra Mamdani -4- Mar 2008
from National Polygamy Advocate · host Mark Henkel
National Polygamy Advocate ™ Mark Henkel was post-interviewed a second time by Zehra Mamdani for Columbia News Service, on March 4, 2008. This is Part 4 of the second post-interview. It follows after an article she had written as a student for the Columbia News Service, from interviews she had conducted with Mark Henkel earlier in January of that year. The article contained many negativities to be corrected. So the writer agreed to Mark Henkel’s request to conduct an initial post-interview on February 26, 2008. She and Mark Henkel also agreed to have second post-interview later, which they conducted on March 4, 2008. This episode is the fourth part of that second discussion. In this Part 4 segment, Mark Henkel noted how the writer was "stepping on" him for continuously repeating that she was going to remove both mentions of "sister site" and "2Wives.com" from an edited version of the article. Mark Henkel repeatedly told her that it was only the "sister site" reference, not the other reference to "2Wives.com," that needed to be removed. The writer passive aggressively continued to act as if that meant both references. Mark Henkel explained how he was trying to help her keep her credibility and then he expressed why he was getting frustrated - to which the writer took 8 solid seconds of silence before saying, "Are you ready to move forward now?" Mark Henkel replied, "The question is, Are you?" Mark Henkel explained that that specific issue was not resolved, and that solving it was how to move forward. The writer finally acquiesced and said that she would only take out the "sister site" reference alone, even saying it three times. The remaining parts of the second post-interview will be aired in the next coming episodes of this podcast. http://www.NationalPolygamyAdvocate.com
