Come as You Are

from LifeRock Church · host LifeRock Church

Our culture is obsessed with perfection, from perfect looks to flawless performances on TV and sports. We’re bombarded with images of "perfect" people living perfect lives. It’s no wonder we feel pressure to measure up, believing that being perfect will make us more acceptable, more loved. But this relentless pursuit of perfection is not what God intended for us. The enemy uses this cultural obsession to deceive us into thinking we must be perfect before coming to God. However, the Bible invites us to come as we are—imperfect and broken. True perfection, as God defines it, is about growth and maturity, not flawlessness. Instead of striving for an impossible standard, we’re called to rest in the grace and freedom found in Jesus, focusing on His work rather than our own efforts. Subscribe to Our Channel!
