In this Come Follow Me for Teens episode, we study Numbers 11–14, 20–24, 27 and the powerful invitation, Rebel Not Ye against the Lord, Neither Fear. The children of Israel’s journey through the wilderness teaches us that God was not only leading them toward the promised land — He was helping them become a covenant people. We’ll talk about Joshua and Caleb and what it means to see life through faith instead of fear. We’ll study the brazen serpent and the invitation to look to Christ and live. And we’ll learn from Balaam’s statement, “I cannot go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more,” as we consider the safety that comes from staying centered in the word of the Lord. This episode helps teens see that the Lord is still working to help us leave the world behind, trust Him more fully, and become more like Jesus Christ.
