Come Lord JESUS

Say HiThe time of one’s youth can be frustrating and challenging too. In Genesis 8:21, God said, “the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth” and Paul in 2 Timothy 2:22 warned Timothy to “flee youthful lusts.”Youngsters are however, endowed with much energy and are very daring with heart filled with visions of the future. Such a period is the most valuable period to serve the Lord. Solomon in all his wisdom admonished the youth to “remember now your creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, I have no pleasure in them” (Eccl. 12:1).Examples of biblical youths to study are. Joseph who forgave those who wronged him said that his brothers meant what they did to him for evil but God used it for good and to preserve life. David was a man after God’s own heart. As a youth he exercises faith enough to kill Goliath. Josiah was a child when he became king and when he became a youth, he initiated a campaign to purge Judah of idolatry (2 Chronicles 34:1-3). Timothy was youth when he became Paul’s companion in his missionary work. At his tender age, Paul made him to be the leader of the church in Philippi. Youth can accomplish great and mighty things for Christ and His church. They should be entreated with serious responsibilities because they are valuable materials in the hands of Jesus.Let God use you mightily this week and beyond.
