Come Uptown Sound 004
from Come Uptown Sound Hosted by Joe Chea
The new year is in full swing and Come Uptown Sound is back with episode 004. Joe Chea (DJ Alligator Man) and Rivea Ruff (Bougie Badazz) are picking up right where they left off; no filter, no fluff, just real conversation and good music. This week the duo covers everything from the freshest new music and the TV shows everybody’s been talking about (yes, Love Is Blind gets its moment) to the bigger conversations about the state of the world and what it all means for us right now. But this episode goes deeper than entertainment. Joe and Rivea take a moment to check in on the strong friend, the ones who are always holding everyone else together but rarely get asked how they’re doing. It’s the kind of conversation that feels personal because it is. Rivea also brings her Weekly Entertainment Report, breaking down what’s hot, what’s not, and what you need to have on your radar this week. Come Uptown Sound 004 is the reminder that your favorite independent radio show is just getting warmed up. Tune in, turn it up, and come uptown. Available now on Substack and as a podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, wherever you listen, we’ll be there. Get full access to Come Uptown Sound at comeuptownsound.substack.com/subscribe
