COMEBACK: New Orleans Saints Get Quincy Riley Back, Defensive Bolsters Depth Before Week 1

Quincy Riley’s return to practice moves the New Orleans Saints closer to full strength before Week 1. The second-year cornerback is expected to start opposite Kool-Aid McKinstry, giving Brandon Staley’s defense a critical piece at a premium position after Riley missed time with a groin injury. Cesar Ruiz, Chris Rumph II, and John Ridgeway III also returned, while Alvin Kamara, Cam Jordan, and Kendre Miller remained injury situations to monitor. The Saints may have found valuable cornerback depth in Decamrion Richardson, a former fourth-round pick with 4.34 speed, length, and special teams potential. Colby Wooden adds another option at 3-4 defensive end, and Cedric Tillman joins the practice squad.
