COMFORT IN THE WORLD 2

The Comfort we seek: 1. Words that brings life. Ruth 2:13 NLT “I hope I continue to please you, sir,” she replied. “You have comforted me by speaking so kindly to me, even though I am not one of your workers.” 2. Friends in times of pains. Job 2:11 NLT When three of Job’s friends heard of the tragedy he had suffered, they got together and traveled from their homes to comfort and console him. Their names were Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. 3. Help when we are helpless. Psalm 10:17 NLT LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. 4. Hope in times of trouble. Psalm 94:19 NLT When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. 5. Unfailing Love. Psalm 119:76 NLT Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant. 6. Nothing to worry about. 2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. GOD COMFORTS US SO THAT WE CAN COMFORT OTHERS.
