Slavery is a complicated subject in the Bible. But one thing is not complicated: the bible uses the image of slavery to communicate our bondage to sin. Thankfully, in Christ, we have been emancipated from our bondage to sin. Jeremiah 34 tells the story of a king who failed to grasp his responsibility to those enslaved under his reign. But more than that, this chapter points us to Romans 6 and asks us to consider whether we will live in bondage or in freedom. Let's turn our attention to Pastor Brian for this week's sermon entitled, "For ALL."
