Coming Out Transgender at Work

Coming out at work is a major step in transition. How does one even start?  In this episode, we'll discuss some ways to help your workplace transition go smoothly, peacefully, and as stressfree as possible. We'll talk planning, working with your organization and supervisor, dealing with problems and more.  Check out Faith's Guide to Coming Out at Work. Here is Faith's coming out memo/email that went out company-wide, her own workplace transition plan, and a sample workplace transition policy that she helped write.  Lamda Legal and the ACLU both may be resources if you encounter employment discrimination.
