'Command and teach'

Gospel leaders we must preach with boldness, while never erring from God's truth. This was the task given to young Timothy. The best way to combat false teaching in the church is to know our Bibles, hence the instruction, 'devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching'. Paul also reminds Timothy not to neglect the spiritual gift he has been given by the laying on of hands. May God bless you in Jesus name as you draw from the truth of God's word. Blessings
