Commander ad Populum Ep 8 - What does Magic do for you?
from Commander ad Populum Hosted by Commander Cookout
Hello and welcome to another very special episode of Commander ad Populum! Commander for the people, by the people, for the people. This week, I have a Facebook-submitted topic. Following that, I delve into the technical section of the show: a quick look at some game rules or how to sharpen an edge, in-game. Finally, each episode concludes with an MtG set retrospective. A mini review of a set from Magic's past. Today's community topic comes by way of the Commander ad Populum Facebook page. I discuss what Magic means to me. I give my thoughts on what I think people can relate to, as well. Finally, I touch on what, I think, Magic can do for us outside the game. The technical section for today covers how I start to think about building a manabase in an upcoming Golgari deck I've been thinking about. Today's set retrospective: Ice Age! A huge expansion that set the stage for years to come and introduced some awesome Commander cards that still see play today. If you'd like to give me your thoughts on today's topics or Ice Age, hit me up on Twitter @CadPopCast or on Facebook by searching Commander ad Populum.
