A special event was held to commemorate a very strategic victory by the British and Commonwealth forces against the Turks and Germans in World War One in Palestine 107 years ago; the battle of Semakh on the southern shores of the Sea of Galilee. It was probably the last cavalry charge in history. Reporter Arieh O’Sullivan spoke with historian Joe Sofair about the event and its importance today.
