Commentary - Commissioners snub Lincoln Day Brunch, Governor Lombardo

It was a great weekend at the White Pine Republican Committee Lincoln Day Brunch on Sunday, the 15th  and it was great to see and chat with so many of our listeners, supporters, and advertisers.  What was the most puzzling, though, was the total absence of any county officials, including the County Commissioners.  Now the Mayor of Ely was there.  But where were the Republican County Commissioners - including the newly appointed commissioner, Mr. Noriega, who had been appointed by the Governor, who was there!  White Pine County gets a lot of help from the state.  If the Commissioners want to keep getting that help, why weren’t your Commissioners there?  Inquiring minds want to know.
