Commentary - County Commission to consider opting out of SNPLMA grants

Your County Commission has a jam-packed agenda on Wednesday morning.  They’ll hear once again from the grifters and carpetbaggers from the White Pine Pumped storage project in another attempt to put lipstick on their boondoggle of a pig.  The Commission is also going to consider putting the kibosh on the Marich Field and Broadbent Park upgrade projects to be funded by SNPLMA.  Now I’m surprised that SNPLMA would even consider funding more projects in this county, considering how badly a past commission handled the Duck Pond - considering one commissioner moved out of town and resigned, they were so embarrassed.  Apparently, this commission is so afraid of doing the right thing for the county that they’re going to bail on other projects.  Your county commission at work…Once again, opting to do nothing…than the right thing.
