Commentary - Do we just let the Wild Horses die? Or do we rescue them?

Get the popcorn out, another wild and woolly County Commission is coming up  Wednesday morning at the Library.  And for as much as they get wrong, they do have one thing right.  State and Federal officials need to address the overpopulation of wild horses.  Unlike First Congressional District Candidate Republican Bobby Khan down in Vegas, who believes we need to leave the wild horses alone, I understand that with our current drought in Northern Nevada, the horses need to be rescued. Not just removed, rescued.  Because if we don’t, the wild horses that Khan thinks will be able to run free won’t be able to.  They’ll starve or die of thirst.  Which is the better and more humane alternative?
