Commentary of the Word - The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

Every week on Sean's Facebook and YouTube platforms, he uploads a Commentary of the Word based on the readings of that day, and now we want to share them with you! We will upload previous episodes as well.Today we honour Mary as the loving mother who bears Christ with faith and courage. In Mary, we glimpse the quiet strength that accompanies us on our daily pilgrimage, and we are invited to entrust our lives to her maternal care as we begin this new year with hopeful hearts. Her yes at the Annunciation remains a force for joy, mercy, and mission, illuminating our homes, parishes, and communities with the light of Christ. May Mary’s example lead us to prayerful reflection, generous love, and steadfast trust in God’s plan for our world.Live Jesus in our hearts— forever!
