Commission doesn't get Public Agency Budgeting...or any budgeting, apparently...

Once again the White Pine County Commission doesn’t understand the difference between private enterprise and public finance.  When budgeting for private enterprise, if there’s an emergency, there are no real constraints of pulling money out of one account or even from another source to cover the emergency. You can go to the bank and get a loan.  But in state or local government, you have to budget for emergencies.  If you don’t, it can take days or even weeks to make the moves necessary to finance the emergency.  It’s not like Commissioners Vogler or Pauley think.  Just magically move the money tonight.  It can’t happen.  And Commissioner Carson thought the budget wasn’t balanced?  That’s an obligation in state law.  Have any of these commissioners even dealt with a budget on paper or on line?  Maybe the Commission should get a free copy of Every Dollar and figure it out.  The Commissioners should take advantage of those education benefits that they berate their employees getting, because when it comes to this budget mess, they’re totally clueless.  Prove me wrong.
