We are excited to continue today in our series "Commit" in continued study of the Gospel of Luke. What would your life look like if your heart was totally surrendered to the Lord as He desires? Today we'll be focusing our attention on one of the most well-known passages in all of the Bible, the parable of the Good Samaritan. Believers and non-believers alike know this short story. We name organizations and heroes after its central character. The story is shared to signify the type of general "do good" morality worthy of our admiration. However, do we really understand the truth that Jesus is communicating? Being the "Good Samaritan" is less about attempts at morality and more about the condition of our hearts. In the end, only Jesus can bring what He reveals we so desperately need.
