We often face much pressure to compromise God’s truth in the midst of our secular society in order to feel accepted. We face this pressure in our families, our workplaces, our schools and communities. In today’s passage, Daniel demonstrated commitment to God and His truth no matter the consequence. When he could have compromised, he chose to humbly speak truth to power and God mightily used him. May we seek the Holy Spirit’s divine enablement to live with this same level of commitment.
