Communicating With Compassion

from Sensitivity Is Your Superpower Podcast · host Dr Karen Kan

Non-Violent Communication (NVC) begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies—whether verbal or physical—are learned behaviors taught and supported by the prevailing culture. NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs, and that each of our actions are a strategy to meet one or more of these needs. People who practice the techniques of NVC have found greater authenticity and compassion in their communication, increased understanding, deepening connection, and easier conflict resolution. Join me as I interview one of the US CNVC Certified Trainers Roberta Wall to learn how we can use non-violent communication in our personal relationships, in our parenting, our schools, in our spiritual growth and even abroad.  To learn more about the organization including complimentary resources and training opportunities please visit https://www.cnvc.org/
