Communication is Key

Cassidy Prater RT (R) sits down with hosts Marcelene Forbus (RT/RPA) and Reece Burgoon (RT/RRA) to talk about her experiences as a student, overcoming fears as a student, growing in her role, and working with the Radiologist Assistant (RA). Cassidy does a good job of describing all our fears as students, speaking to and interacting with our patient's during our first interactions.  She shares how overcoming your fears and realizing you know more than you think helps you prepare for your career once you graduate. Cassidy also describes the improved communication and patient care that the RA profession provides to the radiology departments.  She describes her experience working with RA's and the added value that the profession brings and the support it needs to continue to thrive.
