We’re a little late to both Valentine’s Day and our Three Year Anniversary (snanniversary?) beloved listeners, but not too late to tackle this week’s topic - Romcoms! Starting with what makes a romcom work and how it’s different from just plain old romance films, the Sneople then turn their attention to a long and joyfully discussed list of their top romcom hits and misses. After Helena makes an late episode departure, Ezra and Matty wrap up with a talk about how romcom tropes have bled into fanfic and what it is about the stories of people falling in love that’s still so compelling time and again. Matty also finally reveals themselves as the conman of podcasting, and there may be some talk of how tall Darth Vader is in VR (spoilers: he’s very tall).
