Community Matters More is a program of The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation that directly engages the public in giving grant awards. During the month of April , they are pleased to share that the public’s votes will determine the recipients of over $155,000 to nonprofit organizations in ME and NH.In turn, the nonprofits with the most votes in each geographical region will receive a $5,000 grant, with winners to be announced in June .Whether appearing on the online ballot or participating as a write-in, organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit to participate.·If you find that your favorite nonprofit organization is not on the ballot when you vote, you have the option of writing in your nomination.
