Commuting To Congress 11

from John Sarbanes · host John Sarbanes

Commuting to Congress for the week of May 26th, 2014. This week Congress, because of the anniversary of Tiananmen Square, urged the government of China to respect the freedom of assembly. We also voted on the CJS Act and passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for 2014/2015. Other news this week includes General Shinseki resigning from the VA because of the scandal involving wait time for our veterans and the President announcing the draw down of troops in Afghanistan. In the 3rd District I was able to attend the Health Harbor Report Card event.
