To decarbonize the global marine shipping industry, companies are researching new fuels to limit emissions. The Refinery Automation Institute has conducted a thorough investigation on five green fuels for marine vessels: LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, methanol and biofuels. Part 1 of this podcast examines LNG, hydrogen and ammonia as marine fuels, while Part 2 will detail the use of methanol and biofuels.
