Compelled by the Love of Christ - Selby Mpofu - 7 June 2026

Reading from Philippians 3:8–9 and 2 Corinthians 5:14–15, Selby challenged us with a question: what compels us? Paul declared that it was the love of Christ that compelled him, shaping the way he lived and served.From Luke 14:25–27 and Acts 20:24, we were reminded that following Jesus requires us to count the cost. Often, the greatest obstacle is not the world around us, but our love for ourselves. The call was to lay down our own lives for His sake, trusting that true life is found in Him alone.
