Competition Defeats Progress

from Quiet Mornings · host Evangeline Delaney

Ladies I want you to understand that competition sometimes defeats progression. If you are too focused on what the next person is doing and you are trying to outdo her, you will be so harsh on yourself that you will not celebrate the things that you do best or the things you have accomplished. I want you to learn to compete with yourself, outdo yourself, be better than what you were yesterday and stop focusing on what the next woman is doing in her life. You may be seeing fruits of labor of 5, 10,15,20 years and there is no way you can compete with that if you are just starting off. Some people have tried it and fail several times and now has it right and all you see is their accomplishments because you were never there for their failures, therefore, do not compare yourself to that. Compete with yourself, become a better you and try every day to be better than you were yesterday. Enjoy your day ladies!
