He took the mound and never came off, throwing a complete game against a Dillon squad that entered the day with just one loss all season. When Bigfork needed a spark in the third inning, Mayer delivered the biggest hit of the game — a go-ahead three-run double that flipped the score and the momentum. He didn't stop there, adding another RBI later in the game to finish 2-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored.This wasn't a one-game story either.
