All Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen. OfficiantAlmighty Father, who for your great love of your creation did give your dearly beloved Son to die for us; Grant that through his Cross † our sins may be put away, and remembered no more against us, and that, cleansed by his Blood, and mindful of his sufferings, we may take up our cross daily, and follow him in newness of life, until we come to his everlasting kingdom; through the Name of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; * the LORD will hear when I call to him. Be angry, and do not sin; * search your own hearts on your bed and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, * and put your trust in the LORD. There are many who say, "Who will show us some good?” * let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD. You have filled my heart with greater joy * than when their grain and wine abound. I will lay me down and sleep in peace; * for you alone, O LORD, make me to dwell in safety.   Psalm 134 Behold, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, * who stand by night in the house of the LORD!
