Compulsion

On this podcast that focuses on all things poetry we are delving into the topic of compulsions. I have what is referred to as a body focused repetitive behaviour. I have been cheek biting since I was 7 and there have been many moments of my mom and now husband poking me to stop me from doing it, but I find myself often going into a trance. Sometimes I don't even realise I'm doing it, but I do it more often when I'm overthinking and feeling stressed. The poem in todays episode goes through the compulsions I have and how it feels living with this condition.
